A question of skincare....

I very popular question from my clients is: whose skincare do you use, and what do you think is the best?  First of all, I have been very fortunate, to have a client (who has become a friend) who is a Celebrity plastic surgeon.....who flies in from NYC every 6 weeks to see me.  As soon as I felt comfortable to ask, of course I asked her the very same question.  Her answer really surprised me!  She told me that there is no expensive skin care product on the market, that does more for your skin than Retin A Micro.  She also pointed out that with insurance, it usually costs about 100 dollars for a five month supply, a far cry from what many of us are used to paying.  After all, we are looking for a miracle!:)  She told me that many people have given Retin A a bad rap because they start off using it far too frequently.  She had me use the product once every three days to get used to it, then after a few weeks every two days....and finally once a day (at night specifically).  Obviously everyone should consult their physician about this, but for me, it worked beautifully.

Interestingly enough, she suggested I use Neutragena products for the rest of my skincare.  I was stunned to learn this, but she is the expert on the matter, and I am more than happy to have her share her expertise with me.

She also told me that staying out of the sun is essential, and that my failure to do so would ruin my skin.  I was not always super good about wearing sunscreen, and staying out of the sun....but since getting this info from her, I have been religious about it....let's just say that it may just be the MOST valuable advice I have ever received in regards to skin.

stay gorgeous and healthy!

xoxo,

Megan

Nice article you got here, most of the time I just overlook neutrogena products as I thought more expensive brands works better, i also thought that retin-a isn't really necessary. Def picked up tips and pointers here. Thanks for the info! And you look gorgeous in your shot, love the makeup:-)

Retin A actually works as an anti aging product and helps to reverse sun damage, it truly does work miracles! It's so funny isn't it? We often think the most expensive is also the best, but that often isn't the case. Thank you!
